'Y Ddraig Goch' - In Welsh, the dragon is commonly referred to as 'Y Ddraig Goch', which literally translates to 'the red dragon'. It is also sometimes known as "the dragon of Cadwalader".

Cadwalader was a king in the Middle Ages who was one of the first people to use the red dragon we recognise today as their emblem.

In recent years the Welsh dragon has gained a more informal name Dewi. This is the Welsh word for "David". This is reference to St.David, the patron saint of Wales.

We have now created 'Y Ddraig Goch' - The Welsh Dragon Barbless Skinny Buzzer. The trout certainly seem to approve at our local fisheries.

Y Ddraig Goch is tied on a size 10 Fulling Mill barbless hook and are now available in packs of 5. These are now available for sale below at just £5.99 (including UK postage).
